The last date for sending entries for these two events has been extended to 16th midnight.

Update on Travel and Accomodation



The travel expenses will be reimbersed for all outstation students shortlisted for Business Plan and/or Paper Presentation.
Make sure you produce your tickets. (Sleeper class - shortest route between your college and Pune).

For participants of Business Plan and/or Paper Presentation from Mumbai we will provide bus fares on producing the tickets.

All participants will be provided accomodation.

NIASoM

National Insurance Academy School of Management is a unique initiative by the giants of public sector insurance companies and the Govt. MANTHAN

Manthan is meant to churn out the best future managers through various activities which test their managerial skills and wit. After its tremendous success last year, it is again that time of year when students of various B-Schools await 'Manthan' to prove their mettle. Last year the events
attracted more than 700 participants from over 40 B-schools.And this year Manthan is back with more events, greater flow of brainwaves, tougher competition and greater fun & frolic.

Tuzk-e-Babri (PAPER PRESENTATION)


"What makes for great art… is the courage to speak and write and paint…… what

you know and care about."

A platform for all those who wish to put forward their skills in research & analysis and present papers on any one topic from the various provided.

Rules

  • Theme -: A dead product or service, which can be revived/restored in the present or future times
  • Each team can have maximum of 2 students from same or different institutions.
  • There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute.
  • The paper must be original.
  • The paper should not exceed 2500 words.
  • Detailed Reference list must be a part of the paper presented.
  • Use of Schematic charts, Figures and Schedules is recommended.
  • Last date for submitting the paper is March 16, 2009.
  • All the papers would be evaluated based on content, innovation and relevance.
  • The decision of the judges would be final and binding.
  • The authors of selected papers will be contacted by phone/Email.
  • Participants need to mail their entries to: niasom.manthan@gmail.com with the subject as “Paper Presentation”.
  • The participants should furnish the following details on the cover page of their document: a) Name of the Institute b) Name of the Member(s) c) Contact Number and Email Address
  • The shortlisted Papers would be invited to present it at our college.
  • The presentation should not exceed 15 minutes after which a 5 minute Q & A session will follow.

Wazir-e-Sultanat (BEST MANAGER)

Tijarati Mansooba (BUSINESS PLAN)

Businesses Moguls build their dynasties by challenging the conventional and identifying new and unexplored business sectors and formulate a matchless winning strategy.

  • Theme -: Downturn - windows of opportunity
  • Each team can have maximum of 2 students from same or different institutions.
  • There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute.
  • The plans must be original
  • An abstract not exceeding 1000 words must be submitted by March 16, 2009.
  • Use of Schematic charts, Figures and Schedules is recommended.
  • All entries would be evaluated based on content, innovation and relevance.
  • The decision of the judges would be final and binding.
  • The shortlisted candidates would be contacted by phone/Email.

Ishtehaar (aD-mAd)

Ever fancied yourself as an advertiser? Thought you had the perfect ad to sell a product but never had the chance to implement it?? Well, you don't have to wait any longer.

Raqs (STEPS & RHYTHM)

Dance is a divine form of art. Explore its depths and charm as the dancers move in Dewan-a-khas. A seamless flow taking the audience on a voyage of ecstasy.

  • The performance should be less than 5 minutes.
  • Teams should get their tracks in a pen drive/cd/dvd.

Talaash (TREASURE HUNT)
